I have decided to work on more painting types which allow direct painting over the body. There’s a saying that strikes the iron while it’s hot, huh?
Looking at the gallery, I’ve realised that users want to completely redesign the clothes. Not just manipulate the colours. If you know Photoshop, there’ll be three additional drawing types. Overlay, Screen, Normal.
It might not have been it’s intended purpose but I’ve managed to make at least somewhat convincing clothing and accessories with it’s current features. So if you’re giving this a bit more attention, I’d definitely say it’s a good call to further facilitate that sort of creativity. Like I’ve straight up been able to make pretty accurate depictions of some of my fictional crushes with this.

I’m having a problem with body share Save It’s not loading properly. After I am done doing all the painting. On my character I save it on body share. And I noticed it’s not reloading the character the way I painted it On each piece of clothing. and it looks like their clothing have been shredded I had that kind of bug ever since the painting. Came and I’m wondering if that bug will get fixed.
I found the likely problem. The corruption bug can happen when you use multiple characters and save in the game mode. I couldn’t see this problem because I always saved in the sculpting mode. I’ll fix this bug on my next upload.
Let’s see how it goes. Since I couldn’t make it break exactly like yours, I’m not 100% sure.
Next upload will be updated on the game page. You’ll know when I upload it.

Face, arm and leg colors aren’t saving if the base body color is changed. I’m hoping this can be fixed after the test run. (I used a body share made before the painting. Maybe I’ll need to remake it using painting).
Update: this body share was Arisa but it was happening with Usagi too. Remaking the body color in painting, then mask painting still has issues around the seams of the legs, arms and neck.
That bug will be fixed in the next update. Setting the whole color in the paint all mode, then going to the mask mode, is an effective method to save memory and time.

I originally created this feature thinking about tan marks on the body or make-ups. For such purposes, the current method is best because it can preserve underlying details.
But, looking at the gallery, I suppose some users would want to paint over the skin directly?
Adding layers like overlay and screen in Photoshop would be useful someday. I suppose not in the RockHardVR. Perhaps in the new game (XR Friend).
Overlay or screen layers can be useful because they can paint over the skin while preserving the details to a degree.

do you think you might add symmetry mode and brush types to as well? 🙂
Symmetry can be created by adding strokes to the opposite site automatically. That may be done.
Brush types are not that meaningful here because you are masking, not actually drawing something. Brush hardness will do in this program. Currently, the brush has the maximum softness. It is not always convenient.
What I’d like is to have more variety of filters than the HSV shifters.
By the way, I’m almost done with RockHardVR. Starting next month, I’ll continue this work in my next game, XR Friend. It’ll lack the penises and sex loops. From the look of the galleries, it’ll suffice for many.

Wow. The difficulty in implementing this feature is sick! 🙂
I’m finally done up to uploading and downloading the mask paints. But there are still bugs. I’ll try to upload it tomorrow.
One problem with these advanced 3D editing features is that the game is using too much memory. The browser almost certainly crashes after I exit from VR. But it is bearable as long as it doesn’t crash while editing and give you time to upload your pieces.
I think I’ll split the “character creator” from the main game in my next non-porn game project.

This Is absolutely incredible It’s going to enhance character creation even better. So far, I’m having fun with this.I’ve created a few characters Like vampires and I just finished making sailor moon that took me 2 days to do, but anyways, everything is working perfectly so far, and I’m excited for the painting update to come, you have done a incredible job on this

I looked at your piece with ‘cheer’ on the chest. It looks sculpting has a serious problem with loading. I can’t go further without fixing this.
If I reset the sculpting, the shredded polygons are restored to their original state.
I’ll use your piece as a base and try to fix that problem. Thanks for your test runs. It’s very helpful.
You’re very welcome glad to help if I see anymore bugs I’ll let you know about them

Looks interesting, excited to try.
