I’ve got the emergency fix for the controller button problem!!! It was not an anomaly. It was actually a program bug. It’ll get a permanent fix in the next upload
For now, do this.
In the start screen, click left-hand mode, then click right-hand mode again.
The fix is that you need the change the handedness once. Damn, this was such a simple mistake in the program.
I got it to work by turning the “hide menu button” on then I restarted the game.

Looks like I’m almost done with the sculpting. I only need to implement the scale method.
After that, I’ll move on to the body painting mode. I’ll try to finish it within this month. You’ll be able to paint over the texture, and even paint the opacity.

I’m trying to do tgis on Quest 3, but when i press and hold A nothing happens except for the vertices becoming yellow when they are in the circle selection. Same applies when i hold down B. Edit: i made this comment in 3 people mode… Ill edit again with the results after doing it with one
It sounds like the same symptom as the previous comment made by Evendummy. When you press A while the vertices are yellow (meaning they are within range), they should be selected, and you need to see the surrounding vertices changing colours by the area of influence.
I know, but the ui is being prioritized over the actual selecting, even when it is hidden. Basically, the ui is picking up on the hot keys before the simulation can
The program is not picking up the right controller buttons and is behaving as if they are the left controller buttons. Currently, I have no idea why it’s doing that. As I said in the previous comment,
If it is behaving like that, it is impossible for you to do any sculpting. But still, I and some users are uploading sculpted pieces to the gallery. Quest is full of anomalies.

It doesn’t seem to be working on the quest 2, is it not supported? The A and B button just change the influence distance for me.
Are you playing in the left-handed mode? If so, the role of left and right hands are reversed. Select and deselect with the X/Y button, and move vertex with the left hand trigger button.
No I’m playing in right-handed mode. I press the A button and it decreases the influence distance and when I press the B button it increases the influence distance. Also it randomly rotates the character to the right sometimes, I have to push the joystick to the right to move the character back.
Then I can’t help you with that. I checked with my Quest 2 and it’s working all right in both VR and AR mode.
Quest series has many anomalies. In my case, in the past, I have contacted the Meta browser team several occasions for anomalies with proofs. In most instances, the Meta browser team had never encountered the issues I reported.
Maybe turning off the hand-tracking in the start menu? The hand tracking causes me all kinds of problems. I most of the time turn it off.

I have talked about “body painting” in another thread. If we have that feature, users can draw various facial make-ups. Like eye shadows and facial tattoos. I believe it’d be easier and more versatile than the body sculpting.

I have decided that this feature is impossible to stabalize in a three-character situation. It’s just loading too much data. Internal GPU state or something is getting messed up.
I’ll document it later to use this feature in a single character mode only.

Feedback so far. Blown away by the detail. Especially as you get closer to the model. The pixel clarity for an Oculus three. It’s crazy. I get the frustration, you imagine a smooth surface and then start to pull and realize it’s Triangles.
Crashed Three times once into Pixel render with more than one character in the scene.
Not sure if this is a feature to come later, I tried uploading and was not able to recover the save.
Overall Great work. Understand why this has been tough for you, but appreciate it. Still sad to see exiting. there’s more potential here but Understand your decision.
The save/restore process has a bug. It won’t work until the next update. I’m afraid I have to clean out sculpting uploads so far. I think it’s almost done. AR will be supported, too.
Since I’ve decided to work on the body painting, I’ll work on RockHardVR for a while longer.
For users who don’t necessarily want porn, it’s a good thing that I move to the mainstream sector and continue this line of work.

The huge initial delay of some characters when it goes to sculpting mode – it can be fixed. I’ll fix it today.
And I’ll try to merge the sculpting into the body share menu in the main screen today.
Hi, sculpture are in mixed reality?
Yes. AR Mode is possible. Use the test page to try sculpting and painting. https://game.rockhardvr.com/?p=29419

ok so it is just changing the influence distance slider in the ui. Is there a fix?

is there controls for pc?
No PC. For now, optimising the VR operation has priority.
got it , hopefully one day
This is absolutely amazing. You can do so much with this. But I am encountering a problem. It does freeze a lot. But so far everything else looks good
It seems if I turn off all light effects, it runs better. And turning off unnecessary objects will help the editing operation a lot.
Also, it still needs a lot more optimisation in the program.
Incredible work, looks great
